Known Aliases: Digger, seeker, Msa (name means; hunting, hunt search, chase)

Personality:
Msako is said to be many things, the most common is cold and distant. Never one for forming familial bonds she keeps others at arm’s length, and often speaks in a rather detached manner. This attitude also tends to keep others away from her, which she is more than happy about. Her cold detachment also lends itself to her being methodical in her approach. Rarely is she ever squeamish or aggravated by words or actions, also being patient and knowing how and when to bide her time to be more successful in a kill or action. As her name suggests Msako is an excellent hunter, chaser and seeker. Years of training has made her a near expert huntress, tracker, finder, and combatant.
Despite all of this she is inherently curious, although this leans more words a morbid curiosity of others internal workings (both mental and physical). She is always looking to expand her knowledge on subjects she isn’t proficient in, and will seek out teachers in skills she doesn’t know. This curiosity can sometimes come back to bite her, as it can be seen as a creepy over interest or she can be lead into dangerous situations.
The lioness has a big belief in respect and loyalty, having complete respect and faith in those who rank higher than her. She doesn’t directly command respect from those she considers below her but she is not above smacking someone for being insolent towards her. Comfortable as part of the hierarchy Msako would love to prove herself worthy of being a sentinel but is more than happy being a cutthroat for the time being.
Msako believes heavily in the power of law, caring mostly about making sure others obey the laws given by Scar and Zira. She has a habit of condemning those of ‘lower’ races and ranks, growing an extreme distaste for those who chose Simba’s side when they were exiled. Msako will never break the law or promises she makes with those of a higher rank, no guarantee for those she sees as under her. A major law of her own that she will never break is revealing information, nothing will ever make her spill her guts to anyone who isn’t her superior within the Outsiders.
Backstory:
Msako was born before Scar’s time as king in another land to rogue parents, she never met her father and had little to do with her mother. Who was more than content to treat her as a thing rather than another living breathing child, all the other cubs in the litter were treated the same as Msako was. She trained her children to survive and thrive and little else, emotions were secondary, affection was something that wasn’t considered important. During this trying time as a cub Msako lost at least two of her littermates, but she was never permitted to mourn for long. Her mother was lenient with her however and allowed the cubs a moment of weakness and emotion, it didn’t take long for the cubs to adapt her feelings towards death.
This attitude was bred further when they started to be properly taught how to hunt and fight, any squeamish cubs were starved until they moved past their own perceived failures. Msako picked this up quickly, and became rather morbid towards corpses, a twisted sense of childlike curiosity driving her to want to learn all she could about how bodies functioned. Her mother didn’t really mind too much about the fact that Msako was taking bodies apart, so long as she was hunting well and eating the kills.
The next set of training that began when the cubs were bordering on teen hood was battle and combat, ruthless training began and Msako continued to excel. Her lack of squeamishness assisted her in beating her siblings in sparring, eventually fighting against her mother and winning. Her mother was pleased and her siblings started to feel a need to escape, especially after their mother killed a cub for not winning a single combat trail. Msako killed another before their mother decided they needed to move to the pridelands, she knew of the land before Scar’s takeover and decided now was the best time to have them move to the lands.
Msako grew through her awkward teen years with a mixture of Pridelanders who had been in the lands forever and other newcomers such as her. With only one living sibling remaining, Msako decided against trying to form any new bonds, choosing instead to grow distant from anyone who wasn’t her mother and sibling. Finding making new friends difficult and that only became more difficult when her mother passed away.
Throughout the rest of Scar’s reign Msako was content to just exist, hunting, scouting and doing whatever the leaders asked her to do. When Scar’s followers were banished she went with them, when Scar rose again as their leader she was more than happy to have a leader she was comfortable with in charge again.
