Kiara is kind, dependable, eager to please, humble, independent and brave. Though she takes her duty as future queen of the Pride Lands seriously, she never flaunts her status and prefers to be treated like a normal lioness.
Backstory:
Kiara met an Outsider cub named Kovu and quickly became friends with him. Sadly, that friendship was short-lived. Simba found out and chased him away because he was an Outsider - the enemy. That evening, Kiara overheard Simba telling Nala that maybe Kiara was just not cut out to be queen because of that stunt she pulled in the Outlands and suggested making her brother Kion the heir instead. Kiara's feelings were hurt, so she decided to take her position more seriously. Though she did succeed changing Simba's tune, this drove a wedge between her and Kion.
When the Freedom Fighters split up, Nala chose to go with Clopin. When Nala asked if she wanted to come with her, Kiara refused.
