Personality: Tormented as a child Starrick learned quickly how cruel the world could be and how unjust everything around him was. He learned that the only one that could look out for him, was himself and because of this he grew into a very cold and distant individual with little tolerance for delinquency.
Starrick, however, is a very charming individual, seeming to grace people into believing he is a good man and using that power against them when the time comes. He can sometimes appear arrogant but do not let such a thing fool you, he does everything for a reason and once you turn your back he just may stab it.
Backstory: Born in a futuristic 'England', Starrick came from mostly humble beginnings. He was born to a loving father who tried to raise Starrick to be a good, fair, and just individual. However, due to him being a child of a human and shifter relationship; as well as growing up around less favorable people, that didn't happen to be the case. His older peers often bullied, belitted, and beat him due to his smaller stature in the hierarchy, feeble appearance, and because of his hybrid origins. Any attempt at niceties that came from Starrick were often met with bared teeth and sharp claws across his body. Turning the youth into a misfit even among his own people, and while his father Tonris tried time and time again to stop it, to assure his crying son that there was good in the world there was nothing he could do. The darkness in Starrick's heart was already there at a young age.
Starrick's heart grew cold as he grew older, taking every hit and name with more anger. He swore to himself that he would make those around him suffer the way that he had, and eventually he had his chance. While he was born from poor beginnings he had a large talent at swindling people and conning them, these characteristics were taken note of by a space pirate lord who became heavily fascinated by Starrick. The pirate lord was originally reluctant but after seeing first hand what Starrick could do, he took the boy under his wing as an apprentice. The new lease on life gave Starrick the chance to grow as an individual, taking his lessons he learned from the pirate lord and crew to eventually worm his way into the higher aspects of life.
He landed himself eventually a small role as a 'regions officer' in Dudley, acting as the voice of the people while building up his own corrupt and wicked companies. He eventually built a huge chain of commerce underground, using it for his own personal gain and benefit. Hell, even using his ties to murder the people who were once his tormentors in wicked and evil ways. However, not all things were meant to last and right as he was about to claim a seat in parliament the tables turned. A space pirate king named Tango Del Salda Vanga came to Dudley, tearing down everything Starrick had built and leaving him in the dust.
Burned by a faction he once considered an ally Starrick grew mad with the want for revenge, and swore to track down Tango and kill him himself but he never got the chance too. Word spread that the great Pirate King was murdered while he slept, leaving Starrick alone and without a goal to race after. He spent many years lingering in the dark, sulking about his loses but eventually his ambitious will sparked and he was determined to make Tango suffer in someway, somehow. He sent the remainder of his men to search the stars for any trace of the old king and for a while nothing returned...
Until he received word that Tango has a single child and heir to his throne. The child's name was Jasper, he was stolen from Tango's arms after he was killed. Kidnapped to the far outer reaches of the Milky Way. Starrick knew nothing about the galaxy that this child lived in, but he knew one thing for certain and that was the fact he was going to make him suffer in whatever way possible. So, Starrick uprooted all of his operations, put them on a ship and headed to the Milky Way only to have his entire crew be disbanded but a rival fleet and him thrown on to a place called 'Earth'. Alone and enraged, stuck in this obviously 'ancient' place, Starrick rooted himself in England. Trying to rebuild his base of operations which was easier said than done, when word swept through that a war was coming Starrick jumped on the chance to attend. After all what better way to find what you're looking for in the middle of chaos?
