Jafar
Known Aliases:
Rank: Grand Vizier
Alignment: Blackbloods
Gender: Male
Age: 45
Personality: Jafar's is a wicked, scheming mind. He is very devious and intelligent, and when in pursuit of something he wants, persistent and incredibly patient. He isn't, however, very patient with those 'lesser' than him, and so is not one to waste time with pleasantries where they aren't required. Jafar also has a tendency towards anger, with his temper never far away from the surface when things aren't going as planned. He is very proud of his magical prowess, and enjoys using it over people as a source of threat to keep them in their place, where he perceives they belong.
Backstory: Once the royal Vizier to the Sultan of Agrabah, Jafar was plotting for years to take over and rule, searching far and wide for a magic lamp in a cave of wonders to aid him. After a mess involving a street rat, he finally got his hands on the lamp, and ascended to being Sultan by way of genie-granted wishes. However, the street rat managed to thwart him, tricking him into wishing to become a genie himself, thus trapping him in a tiny lamp of his own. Aladdin destroyed the lamp to be sure Jafar wouldn't cause trouble again, but little did he know, the sorcerer had a twin sister; one who was adept in necromancy.
Through her blood magic, Nasira brought Jafar back from the dead. Grateful to have her help, Jafar turned his attention back towards Agrabah, and soon learned of the magi’s exile due to the Sultan’s fear of anyone like Jafar himself. The sorcerer used this as a justification for his revenge, under the guise that he was only trying to help the magi who had been thrown out of their homes.
Jafar promised them everything they could ever want, in return for complete allegiance to him. With these new members of his army, he created the Blackbloods, and together, they took Agrabah from the Sultan once more, exiling Aladdin and his friends. Jafar set his sights on conquering just more than the Arabian Peninsula when he took back his rightful throne, vowing vengeance against Aladdin.
Unfortunately for him, Maleficent, having recently been revived, caught wind of Jafar's conquest over the Arabian Peninsula, and thought it in her best interest to join in, as her goons weren't cutting it for her anymore.
Once she got to Agrabah, she fought Jafar one on one to gain control of the Blackblood faction. The battle seemed to go on for ages, and the palace courtyard was nearly destroyed. Jafar lost when Maleficent took advantage of a small moment of weakness, using it to turn the tide and become the victor.
Jafar’s life was spared, and she was kind enough to make him Grand Vizier, much to his disappointment. Jafar begrudgingly accepted, and agreed to watch over the Arabian Peninsula, while Maleficent expanded their boundaries to other countries.
