[July 5th, closed with Jenn, Hades and Megara ] As dusk fell on another day in Paris, many of the citizens of the city were heading to their homes for a good night sleep, leaving the streets relatively empty for the most part. This is, except for several members of the Rouges army. It wasn't uncommon for the soldiers of Clopin's army to patrol and wander the streets at night aside the city guards. One of those people was Jenn. The angel sat atop a merchant's wagon, watching the sun set behind the towering Notre Dame cathedral. Her gaze moved toward the street when she heard frantic footsteps. Jenn raised a brow when she saw a young lady, probably not much older than twenty, pittering through the streets as though looking for something. What caught her attention the most was the familiar looking garb this woman wore. She was wearing a greek chiton, much like Jenn herself donned. "Huh," She hummed, hopping down off her perch. She walked over to the worried looking girl and tilted her head, "Hey, you look a bit... well... frantic. Everything all right?"

She tried to remain calm, or at least look it. But she didn't know how much time her lover had left. Megara had to find the lord of the underworld before she ran out of time. Hades. Word had gotten out among the Freedom Fighters that he was seen in Paris, in the company of the Rogues. Soon as she heard that Megara packed her bags and used whatever means available to her to get to Paris as quickly as possible. Meg paused, then turned towards the voice while smoothing back some of her hair. 'So much for trying to look calm' she thought dryly to herself. Then her eyes registered the familiar clothes. This girl was Grecian? Well, at least she was wearing the clothes for it. She might know... "I'm looking for some one," Meg took a second to collect herself and attempt to look at least some semblance of calm. She folded her arms low at her waist, hands holding her elbows, "You might have heard of him. Hades. Lord of the Underworld."Megara's smile was wry, she knew very well that this girl probably knew who Hades was, "I was going to the Court of Miracles. If he's in Paris, then the Rogues would know where he is..."

Jenn tilted her head when the girl mentioned looking for someone, and what she said next caused the ghost of a smirk to cross her face. "You might have heard of him. Hades. Lord of the Underworld." "Heh, yeah I've heard of him. You could say we've crossed paths before."
She mentioned planning on heading for the Court to look for him. Jenn felt a bit of sympathy, whatever the reason this woman was looking for the lord of the dead, it couldn't be good. While she trailed off the end of her words, Jenn waved a casual hand through the air. "No need to ask around at the Court, I can do you one better..." She turned and beckoned the woman to follow her. She could lead her right to Hades with no need for detours, and most likely with less questions than if it had been anyone else to stumble across her.
She did have one question for her though, turning back to look at her over her shoulder with a small smile, "So, what's your name? If you don't mind me asking that is."

Megara had the distinct feeling there was a joke that she wasn't in on. She would have been kinda annoyed if she wasn't so relieved that she was on the right track to Hades. In fact she would be saving time by going directly to him and her lover... Well, he didn't have much time. So, if this girl could get her there sooner, than all the better. "Megara. Yours?" she responded almost absentmindedly. Now that she wasn't rushing to find her way to the Court of Miracles, Megara could take a moment to observe her exotic surroundings. The hustle and bustle reminded her of Thebes... but then that was about it. After that the place was a whole 'nother world. A world of strange clothes, strange buildings, and even stranger people. Meg would have liked to explore and learn more about Paris if she wasn't a woman on a mission pressed for time. "How have you 'crossed paths with Hades'? If you don't mind my asking," Megara returned with a slight smirk. The tease was good-natured with no real bite to it.

She led the woman through the Paris streets. Jenn herself was still learning the area, but she knew how to get around here for the most part. The sun was almost completely set and the torches were now being lit. If anyone looked closely, they might have seen something off about the purple haired woman's shadow.
"Name's Jenn" she smiled, "Nice to meet you Meg... er, d'you mind if I call you that?" She could see on her face that this woman felt just as out of place in this city as Jenn had when she arrived. It was much different from Greece, that was for sure. Greece felt more open, even in big cities like Thebes. Paris was much more enclosed and cramped. Not to mention the way the mortals acted and dressed, and their views on the world.
While they were walking, Jenn made a mental nudge towards the God of the dead, "Hey, meet me outside the court. I've got someone who wants to see you." "Who?" She heard his irritation echo in her mind, and mentally rolled her eyes. "You'll see."
It was Meg's next question that broke her little telepathy chat, causing the angel to turn her attention back to her, "How have you 'crossed paths with Hades'? If you don't mind my asking," She thought about it for a moment, before deciding it would just be best to say the honest truth, "Oh, I work with him," she replied in a tone that made it sound like this was nothing out of the ordinary. Which for her, it wasn't. As they reached the court, where many of the Rouges' soldiers were staying, including herself, Jenn glanced around. She couldn't see Hades anywhere, but knowing him, he was probably lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to make an entrance.

"Sure, why not, we've known each other for all of 5 minutes. I think we can be on abbreviated name basis," Meg drawled with a crooked smile. She was actually more accustomed to people calling her Meg rather than Megara anyway. The handful of acquaintances and friends she had made in the Freedom Fighters had adopted to the nick name quickly enough. The young Grecian was getting desensitized to culture shock at this point. After the handful of environments and places she'd experienced, she knew she was just going to have to adapt quickly. She could gawk AFTER she completed the task she had come here for... Megara shifted her jaw as she reminded her just why she was here following Jenn in the first place. "You... 'work'," Meg emphasized the word with a pair of air quotations, "With the god of death. Well, that explains everything, doesn't it?"Meg's arms fell to wrap around her waist in a casual stance. Sure, people have been known to interact with the gods. But this was usally in the form of being screwed, smote, woo'd, or any combination of the three. "And whats on the job description of some one in business with a god?"
