Forum Rules
The rules are subject to change at any time, but we'll let you know.
Etiquette & What We Expect
"Display dignity. Walk with pride." - Great Prince of the Forest
Be kind to other members, and respect their opinions. Do not discriminate or display discriminatory actions or behavior on the basis of gender, race, color, ethnicity, disability, political affiliation, religion (that includes freedom from religion) and sexual orientation.
Love is love.
Yes, we are an LGBTAQ+ friendly site. If you're not cool with that, then you should probably roleplay somewhere else.
Be respectful.
Please use common sense when posting. If something might be offensive don't say it.
IC ≠ OC
Do not shun players for their characters' actions or choices. For example, a sexist character does not mean that their player is sexist.

Do not steal.
Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated. Use your own work. That includes taking characters from existing works (e.g Steven Universe, Undertale) and passing them off as your own.

Applying
"Everything the light touches is our kingdom." - King Mufasa
You are allowed to claim unlimited characters. Each character requires their own roleplay account, and keep in mind that it is mandatory members participate in a monthly activity check.
No mary/gary sues.
Please do not try to make a "perfect" character; that's boring. If you want people to like your character, make them interesting.
Fan characters are welcomed here!
Your character must come from a set Disney 'verse (e.g a wolf from Belle's world, a human from Aladdin's world). Special characters with mutations and hybridizations (like ligers or albinos) and supernatural creatures must be run by a staff member.
Keep fan/canon relations to a minimum.
If you're applying for a fan character avoid making them related to a canon character unless you have the canon character's player's permission. If you want them to be related to a character that currently has no player you have to get staff permission. Do not use a canon character as a crutch for your fan character.
Keep markings and colors realistic
Purple dragons are fine; purple lions are not. You get the idea.
Please be patient while waiting for your application to be reviewed.
We will get to it asap.
Do not make a character account until that character has been accepted by a staff member.
Just in case your application isn't accepted for whatever reason. However, if you're applying for your first character, then it's perfectly okay to make an account.

Roleplaying
"Blood! Blood! Blood!" - Lt. Judy Hopps
Since this is a casual roleplay, there is no required word count. We just ask that you use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar and write your posts in third person and in past tense. No chatspeak or l33tspeak, please.
Do not godmod, powerplay or metaplay.
It screws up plans the other player may have for their character plus it's rude.
No clairvoyant characters.
A big part of war is the element of surprise. You can't really accomplish that if your character(s) always magically know somebody is up to no good. Your character is not going to know everything. They're going to miss things. They're going to make mistakes. And that's okay. Don't worry, no one is going to think your character is stupid if you portray them as none the wiser. In fact, it makes your character, and the situation as a whole a lot more interesting.

Romance is encouraged, but-
For sexually explicit content, fade to black or go nuts off site.
On the subject of children...
If you want your character to have children, that's okay, but we have a few rules:
1.) If the parent of your character's child is played by another member, then you would have to get that member's permission. If it's just your character involved, then you're good to go.
2.) Keep the number of babies born plausible. A human usually has one child at a time. Animals vary. I would advise you not to go beyond three unless you plan on offing some of them for the sake of drama. If you're not sure whether something's plausible or not, feel free to contact a staff member, and we can work something out.
3.) You do not have to make a separate account for them unless you want to. Animal babies tend to grow a lot faster than human babies, so take that as you will.

Swearing is okay, but-
Keep it in moderation. Swearing is an emotional and creative language that can really convey the intensity of a moment - but only in moderation. Dropping the F-bomb every other sentence does not make your character edgy or badass. The more often someone swears, the less effective it is.
