Cerberus remembered Bob mentioning his sister when the two talked before, but he'd never met the other unicorn. It was good to finally have a face to put the name to. The dog also made sure to make note of Bob's small mortal friend, Taylor.
Perhaps it was due to the dog not having much experience with living humans, aside from the ones who foolishly wander into his territory, but something about Taylor reminded him of Jenn. If she was as nice to be around as the angel, maybe Cerberus could learn to give the humans some lenience. He knew with Jenn keeping an eye on him, he wouldn't get to torment them much anyway. He'd have to find something else to play with.
When Bob brought up Jenn, all three heads glanced toward the door,
"Outside," "To talk with master."
He turned his attention back to the unicorn,
"master didn't look too happy about something," "Probably mad we left," "but we want to stay with Jenn. Maybe she can get him to stay too."
---
-"C'mon!"
"No! Babe, you're talkin to the wrong god. I deal with the aftermath of wars, not get involved with 'em."
"Hades, think about it," Jenn explained, waving her hands around slightly as she talked, "If we stay here and help these guys, we'll be making a lot of allies. Allies who could help us with future endeavors of our own."
She didn't have to say what those endeavors were, they both knew she was talking about the Titans. Hades let out a huff, pacing back and forth as he thought about her argument. She had a point, they would be making many allies here, and there wouldn't be as much of the stigma as there was in Greece. Most people there knew who he was, other immortals and monsters included, and not everybody was happy to hear his name. Happens when you're god of the dead, even if their reasons are sometimes (most times) justified.
He glanced back at Jenn, who was staring at him with the angel equivalent of puppy dog eyes. Damn it.
"Stop that."
"What?" Jenn asked, acting innocent.
"That look. You give me that look as though it'll get me to agree with you-"
She tilted her head, looking even more like a lost puppy. Hades glared at her for several seconds, before letting out an exasperated sigh,
"Ugh. FINE! You wanna stay, we'll stay. You got a point, and it's either that or I'd probably have to drag you and Cerberus back to the Underworld kicking and screaming..."
Jenn quickly dropped the innocent act, which was replaced with a smirk and a quirked eyebrow as she tried not to chuckle.
"Thanks Hades."
He rolled his eyes at her, trying to hide the tiniest hint of a smirk,
"Yeah yeah."
They both turned their heads when they heard Dante's voice, particularly at the word tour. Jenn glanced back at Hades, grinning. The god blinked at her for a moment, before shaking his head,
"No-"
"Yes! If we're staying here, we might as well know the city, and get to know some fellow Rouges too. C'mon!"
Before he could object, Jenn grabbed his hand and dragged him over to where Dante and the rest of the tour group were meeting. Hades grumbling the entire time. This was going to be a long day.
