Phlegmatic, self-assured, implacable and cruel, Makucha is a tenacious tracker and will not quit until he catches his quarry. In the face of danger, Makucha seldom loses his cool and is willing to fight for what he believes is his. However, he is an opportunistic hunter and is known to run away when the odds are no longer in his favor.
Backstory:
Makucha hailed from a far away land, where he was fixated on catching an okapi named Ajabu. He chased Ajabu all the way to the Pride Lands. Fuli unearthed his tracks and informed the rest of the Lion Guard, but Makucha easily evaded arrest by jumping to the other side of the Big Ravine. He found Ajabu among Thurston's herd, but before he could do anything, the Lion Guard caught up to them. Makucha decided that Ajabu wasn't worth it and left.
