Personality: Typically Jasper is the type of man that is quiet, meek, and mostly keeps to himself. He is soft spoken, and a timid little thing and it take a lot of warming up to before he'll freely speak around oneself. However, once someone is able to get past that timid side of him they'll see a bubbly big sweetheart who has a big heart and just wants to do right by everyone. He has big dreams, and huge ambitions, and while they aren't war orientated he still wants to make an impression. He makes a big presence when he's feeling confident and seems to attract people around him, he's sweet-natured and has a lot of heart and genuinely loves helping people around him.
However just like most people Jasper isn't one dimensional. He has a very stern believe in what is right and wrong, it often puts him on ends with those around him. His morale code isn't traditional and he knows that everything is not black and white. There is a lot grey area in between. There is also the problem with him losing his temper, while it's hard to push him to it, once he loses it he doesn't hold back. His grudges last forever, he'll forgive but never forget.
Backstory: Born in the far reaches of the universe, Jasper was born into a family of adventurers. A huge mismash of humans, skin walkers, shifters and more. He was born to Angela Morrison and Charles Vangas. While his childhood was not ideal and he suffered from the abuse of his father, Jasper grew up to be a true adventurer in his own right. At the young age of fifteen, he quickly parted ways with his father and mother to join a crew setting sail to unknown territory and eagerly went with.
However his first true adventure away from home did not go as planned. Inexperience and with a more than rambunctious crew of greenhorns, many mistakes were made and most of the crew was killed or ended up worse off. Jasper, though just barely, escaped the attack of another crew and booked it to a trading charter where he boarded on a ship and got the high hell out of dodge. Ended up in the Milky Way galaxy.
From there he was left to fend for himself, with a simple bag of food and goods, a sword and pistol. It wasn't much but he used it to his benefit, eventually settling down in South Carolina. From there he began to learn about the lives of those around him. Eventually setting up his own farm and starting an art business. It wasn't much, but it was his and he enjoyed it.
But all good things come to an end. War tore through his home like it had many others, threatening to tear down what little he had. He fought back, resisted but it wasn't the end of it. The war continued to grow and eventually people started to call to arms, while originally reluctant Jasper decided it was high time to join up...
